Our Teaching Excellence Program creates environments where exceptional teachers can share experiences, learn from each other and develop high-impact teaching methods.
Participants will deepen pedagogical content knowledge in their chosen discipline, and access contemporary, evidence-informed research and strategies to apply in their classrooms.

Teaching Innovation Fellowships
Graduates of the Teaching Excellence Program can apply for a Teaching Innovation Fellowship in which they will design and implement an innovation project in their schools.

Assessment process and information
Victorian Aspiring Principal Assessment (VAPA)
The Academy delivers the Victorian Aspiring Principal Assessment (VAPA). The VAPA is a strengths-based assessment that ensures every candidate is supported and ready for a principal role. A VAPA statement of readiness is required before candidates can be appointed to a principal role.
